Recorded in a small studio in the Pacific Northwest, by innovators Kels Boreen and Josh Spiegel, this potent collection of songs was crafted with the help of many other soulful musicians, each bringing their own unique flavor and creative insight to the table. Through late night sessions, fueled by endless cups of strong coffee, and armed with a love for vintage tone, a project was born of a sound and feel that bridges styles and generations effortlessly.

It is the hope that in this album there is a bit of something pleasing for everyone's ears. Thank you for taking the time to listen to these sounds, for time is so precious and life is too sweet...

This album was written by Kels Boreen, arranged, engineered and mixed by Kels Boreen and Joshua Spiegel, drums mixed by Tawm Perkowski, vocally coached by Joshua Spiegel and Devin Smith, photographed by Quin Boreen, James Krall, Bob Carkeek, Colin Earthturtle, Katie Gray, Kels Boreen, and Corey Warren, who also designed the cover.

All tracks were recorded at One Tree Studios, San Juan Island, WA except: violin on track 2 and upright bass on tracks 1, 8, 9 and 10 at Innate Studios, Bellingham, WA, lap steel guitar on track 1, octave mandolin and slide guitar on track 2, and mandolin on tracks 8 and 9 recorded at Tooloose Lotec Studios, Newport, WA.

Additional mixing by Michael Connolly at Empty Sea Studios, Seattle, WA and mastered by Rick Fisher at RFI, Seattle, WA.
